Scope

This policy explains how we handle the personal data of visitors to this website (www.volleyworldapp.com). It is an informational site: you do not need an account or a login to use it.

If you use the mobile app, the web app, the Club Manager, the Competition platform or the Store, your data is governed by the platform Privacy Policy instead: Platform Privacy Policy.

2. Contact Form

If you write to us through the contact form, we process the following data:

• Data we collect: name, email, phone or club (optional), and the content of your message.
• Purpose: to read your enquiry and reply to you.
• Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), given by ticking the box before sending. You may withdraw it at any time.
• Where it is stored: on our own servers in Germany (Hetzner Online GmbH). The data does not leave the European Union.
• Retention: we keep your message while we handle your enquiry and for up to 24 months afterwards, unless you ask us to delete it sooner.
• Recipients: none. We do not sell, rent or share this data with third parties.

3. Cookies and Local Storage

This site uses no analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. The only thing we store in your browser (localStorage) is an entry called "cookie-consent", which records your answer to the cookie notice so that we do not show it to you again.

4. Server Logs

This site is hosted on our own servers in Germany (Hetzner Online GmbH), which automatically generate technical logs (IP address, date and time, page requested, browser type) necessary to serve the site and protect it from abuse. These logs do not leave the European Union. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in the security and correct operation of the site (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

5. Google Fonts

This site loads typefaces from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com). In doing so, your IP address is disclosed to Google. No cookies are set in this process. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in presenting the site consistently (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
